It is used for treating a variety of bacterial infections such as skin and soft tissue infections, middle ear infection, lungs & airways, throat infection (tonsillitis/pharyngitis), urinary tract infection, nose infection (sinusitis), pneumonia, and bronchitis.

Augmentin 375 mg is a combination medicine of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxycillin, an antibiotic prevents the formation and division process of bacterial protective covering or cell wall.
